ABOUT US

To Honor and Remember Our Community’s Legends of Sport

Goals and Objectives

•	Continue to select and honor our local people (past and present) who have made significant contributions to the world of sports for Induction into the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame, on a yearly basis.

•	Continue to provide an Annual Induction Dinner with a prominent nationally known sports figure as guest speaker to formally honor our Inductees and to raise funds for our Sports Hall of Fame.

•	Maintain our temporary location for the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame & Museum at the Visions FCU Veterans Memorial Arena, where the community will continue to have access to view the accomplishments of the honorees and to remember them.

•	Find a new permanent location, and expand our Sports Hall of Fame Museum to include additional artifacts, video, and computerized information on our Inductees. Provide educational programming, and present featured guest speakers explaining our local sports history.

•	Continue to award two yearly college scholarships of $1,500.00 each to the Male and Female Senior High School Student/Athletes of the Year.
